Welcome to Helea, a land swallowed by eternal twilight, scarred by human machinery, and stained by immortal blood. Below is the official history of our world, from the dawn of creation to the catastrophic event that changed the rules of war forever.

Before the factions, before the war, there was only Eden.

Adam and Lilith were the first two beings to ever set foot in this sacred paradise. Created as equals to walk the pristine earth, their union was not meant to last. Driven by an independent spirit and a refusal to bow, Lilith severed herself from Adam, exiling herself into the uncharted outer darkness of the world. In her isolation, her grief and defiance twisted, transforming her into the mythical, primordial Mother of all Vampires.

Seeking to preserve the divine essence left behind, Adam sealed his most sacred sanctuaries, burying the secrets of creation and the sleeping lineage of the ancient world deep beneath the mountainous, Eastern European region of Helea (known today as Eslania). For millennia, the land remained in a delicate, fragile balance—until insatiable greed broke the seal.

In their relentless pursuit of ultimate power, three Vampire Masters—Vlad Tepez, Elizabeth Báthory, and Gilles de Rais—forged a dark alliance. Together, they breached the ancient seals of Adam’s Sanctuary, intending to awaken Lilith and claim her primordial strength.

They failed to wake her fully, but the cosmic back-lash changed the world forever.

Breaking the seal released a violent, catastrophic shockwave of raw, chaotic energy that ripped across the leylines of the earth. As this ancient energy exploded into the sky, it condensed into a suffocating, dense veil of pitch-black clouds: The Chaos Templum.

The Chaos Templum permanently blocks all deadly ultraviolet (UV) rays from the sun. With the daylight effectively dead, Vampires are now free to walk the earth during what used to be the afternoon, turning Helea into a literal "Dark Eden" for the undead. But this sudden shift in the cosmic balance sent shockwaves that mobilized two other forces, igniting a brutal three-way war for survival.
